Pot of Moonlight is our new, dreamy balm-to-milk cleanser created for all skin types. This soft, velvety balm melts into an oil on warm skin and transforms into a delicate milk on contact with water, gently lifting away makeup, SPF and daily impurities while soothing your senses.

Pot of Moonlight is infused with the same tranquil scent profile as our beloved Organic Skin night-time elixir, the oil that launched La Belle Lune!

The fragrance opens with calming notes of sweet and herbaceous Lavender, softened by the floral elegance of Rose Otto. These gentle florals intertwine with the warmth of Frankincense and Carrot Seed, adding a subtle, soft earthy complexity.

Ingredients

Caprylic/capric Triglyceride

A lightweight emollient oil that gives Pot of Moonlight a beautiful slip and works harmoniously with our other base oils of Sweet Almond, Apricot, and Cherry.

Sweet Almond Oil

Cold pressed from Almond kernels, this oil is rich in vitamin E, A, B1, B2 and B6 and helps balances moisture in dry and irritated skin.

Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate

A naturally derived emulsifier and surfactant giving Pot of Moonlight its excellent rinse off ability.

Cetearyl Alcohol

A fatty alcohol used as an emollient and emulsion stabiliser.

Kokum Seed Butter

A firm, nourishing butter pressed from the seeds of the Kokum fruit, known for its restorative properties and helps create a rich balm texture that melts effortlessly on the skin. Kokum Butter supports the skin’s natural barrier, helping to maintain softness and comfort post-cleanse.

Soya Wax (& Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil)

Soya Wax is a vegetable based, vegan wax alternative, derived from Soya Bean Oil and is used in cosmetics for its skin-softening properties. It also imparts a lovely slip when combined with Kokum butter and Rice Bran Wax in Pot of Moonlight.

Apricot Kernel Oil

Cold pressed from Apricot Kernels its emollient, nutrient rich consistency forms part of the base base of our balm-to-milk cleanser. Combined with Sweet Almond, Caprilic/Capric Triglyceride and Cherry oils it creates a beautiful lightweight formula that helps gently massage the day away.

Polysorbate 80

Emulsifier and surfactant working with Polyglyceryl-4 Oleate to create the best rinse off ability

Rice Bran Wax

A natural wax derived from the outer layer of Rice Bran and helps give Pot of Moonlight part of its rich texture. It melts beautifully on contact with skin, aiding in the gentle lifting of makeup, sunscreen, and impurities.

Cherry Kernel Oil

Cherry Kernel Oil is a silky smooth, light oil, imparting its softening quality into Pot of Moonlight. Rich in Vitamin A and E it completes the nutrient rich oils in our magical cleanser.

Tocopherol in Sunflower Seed Oil

Vitamin E diluted in Sunflower Seed Oil for its antioxidant properties

Lavender Essential Oil

The heart of Pot of Moonlight. This timeless essential oil conjures calm with every breath. Dusky purple blooms swaying in a twilight breeze under the rising Moon, rich soil still warm from the day. Beyond its serene scent, Organic Lavender brings gentle yet powerful benefits: naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and balancing, perfect for soothing both skin and senses.

Rose Otto Essential Oil

Soft and evocative, Organic Rose Otto adds a gentle floral note to Pot of Moonlight. Distilled from the petals of the Damask rose, its delicate scent unfolds like a bloom in twilight, elegant, subtle, and serene.

Frankincense Essential Oil

Resinous and grounding, Organic Frankincense lends a quiet depth to Pot of Moonlight. Its warm, smoky aroma evokes ancient stillness and the meditative hush of evening.

Carrot Seed Essential Oil

With its earthy, slightly herbaceous aroma, Organic Carrot Seed adds complexity to the blend and brings a grounding note that balances the floral and resinous tones, anchoring the scent of Pot of Moonlight in warmth and quiet richness.

Rosemary CO2 Extract

Organic Rosemary CO2 brings a fresh, green edge to Pot of Moonlight. It also supports the freshness of the botanical oils by its ability to lessen oxidisation, helping to preserve the integrity of the formulation.

With clean, dry fingertips, massage Pot of Moonlight thoroughly onto a dry face to dissolve makeup, SPF and daily impurities. Add a splash of warm water and continue massaging to emulsify the balm into a beautiful light milk. Rinse thoroughly.

Pot of Moonlight may also be removed with a warm, damp washcloth.

Due to the nature of the botanicals used, the scent and colour of Pot of Moonlight may vary slightly from batch to batch and in different lighting.
